Wedgwood at top table

A CITY restaurant has been awarded the title of restaurant of the year 2011 for the second year running.

Wedgwood the Restaurant on the Royal Mile was awarded the honour by Scottish Licensed Trade News.

Chef and joint owner Paul Wedgwood said: “We are over the moon to have won.

“It is a great feeling to have retained this title.”

The chef started his career in the Lake District and is a regular favourite at the Taste of Edinburgh Festival, The Royal Highland Show and Foodies Edinburgh Festivals.
