“We left the scene at 11.56pm last night and there was no reported causalities at this derelict building.”

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.

The fire came on the same day a man was found dead at a property at Harestanes Road in Armadale, and a car was set on fire nearby in the Netherhouses area near Armadale. Police Scotland said they are keeping an open mind, but the two incidents are being investigated as linked.
