West Lothian police appeal following suspicious fire in Blackburn

The incident happened around 5.30 a.m. on Thursday November 3 at the GTS Auto care premises in the Mosshall Industrial Estate.

Hide AdSignificant damage was cause to the building after a bin was pushed against the entrance and set alight.
A nearby vehicle was also vandalised after having its rear window smashed.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their inquiries to come forward.
Detective Constable Iain Duncan from Livingston CID said: “Thankfully no one was injured as a result of these fires and the fire service was able to quickly bring them under control.

Hide Ad“However, the consequences could have been far worse had the flames managed to spread further and we are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry to trace those responsible.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around Mosshall area of Blackburn during the early hours of Thursday morning, or similarly, anyone with information that can help us identify those responsible.”
