Winter thrills at the Castle

EDINBURGH Castle has unveiled its festive programme, which will feature a host of family activities.

Events include a storyteller’s tales of a Victorian Christmas, renaissance music, a children’s winter quiz and Christmas carols in the Great Hall by pupils from George Heriot’s School.

Nick Finnigan, executive manager, said: “Bring the kids to the ­castle and take them on an exciting trail with our new ­winter quiz, where they can find out about the fun and ­fascinating facts about winter traditions at the castle.”
