Woman hurt in collision

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital suffering neck and back pain after a collision involving a van and a car in Bathgate.

A Citroën Multispace and a Renault Master van collided at the Boghall roundabout at around 12.40pm yesterday.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the 43-year-old woman from the car.

She was taken to the Royal Infirmary by ambulance. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
