Work to begin on new Edinburgh Accies development
WORK is set to begin on the new Edinburgh Accies development in Stockbridge.
Raeburn Place Foundation said there would be repairs to the collapsed wall and gateway along Portgower Place, while mounds of rubble will be removed.
Pavements along Comely Bank Road and Portgower Place will also be resurfaced and upgraded.
Building work on the new facility is due to begin later this year.
The £16 million plans include a new rugby pitch and 2500-seat stand, alongside bars, shops and other facilities.
