Youngest mum to stand trial

BRITAIN’S youngest mum is to stand trial for dishonesty after denying a catalogue of offences.

Tressa Middleton, who got pregnant when she was just 11 years old, appeared in the dock at Livingston Sheriff Court.

Tressa, 18, pleaded not guilty to two charges of theft by shoplifting at Argos on February 9 and February 14 this year.

She further pleaded not guilty to resetting a stolen cheque on August 22.

She had trials fixed for dates in May and June.
