Amazon shoppers are snapping up this portable Anker Bluetooth speaker ahead of summer gatherings and outdoor weekends.
Portable Bluetooth speakers always surge in popularity once warmer weekends and bank holidays arrive, and one heavily discounted Anker model has already been bought more than 5,000 times on Amazon in the past month alone.
The Anker Soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has dropped to £24.97 in a limited-time Amazon deal, down from its £39.99 RRP.
The compact Bluetooth speaker deal currently carries Amazon’s Choice status for “outdoor speakers” and has built up more than 140,000 customer ratings, making it one of the retailer’s most established portable audio products.
With BBQ season, park meetups and garden gatherings beginning to ramp up, smaller portable speakers tend to become major impulse buys as people look for easy ways to add music outdoors without spending hundreds on premium audio systems.
The Anker Soundcore 2 combines portability with waterproofing and long battery life, making it aimed squarely at outdoor use during summer weekends, holidays and travel.
Its IPX7 waterproof rating is designed to protect against rain, splashes and spills, which could make it appealing for gardens, camping trips, beach days or even bathroom use.
Despite its smaller size, the portable speaker delivers 12W stereo sound through dual neodymium drivers, while Anker’s BassUp technology is designed to boost lower frequencies for stronger bass performance.
According to the listing, the built-in 5,200mAh battery can deliver up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge, potentially covering an entire weekend away or long outdoor gatherings without needing constant charging.
Wireless stereo pairing is also supported, allowing two compatible Soundcore speakers to connect together for wider sound coverage.
Portable speakers in this price range often become popular “add-to-basket” purchases during Amazon sales events, particularly once consumers start preparing for holidays, festivals and outdoor entertaining.
The Anker Bluetooth speaker also benefits from a more travel-friendly design compared with larger party speakers, making it easier to throw into backpacks, picnic bags or hand luggage.
Amazon shoppers have left the speaker with a strong 4.6-star average rating, with reviewers frequently praising battery life, sound quality and durability for the price.
Bluetooth speakers can often rise in price again once summer demand increases, especially waterproof models aimed at outdoor use.
