Prestigious customers
Delivering to homes across the Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Central Belt, JDS has established a strong reputation for providing healthy, strong trees – all grown near Stirling.
They also supply businesses and organisations with large trees up to and above 20ft. Last year, Waverly Station was graced with one of their trees, which have also been seen in the upmarket Harvey Nichols and Whisky Experience stores.
What is the right tree for you?
Most trees for homes are between 4ft and 9ft and prices range from £55 to £144. Size very much depends on where you live but it is not just height that needs to be considered – the spread of the branches can influence your choice.
Big or small, JDS guarantees a premium standard on two types of tree:
Fraser fir: With a deep green needle, these traditional trees are narrow but pack a bushy foliage. JDS uses anti needle-drop varieties but you can still expect a few to fall.
Nordmann fir: With a symmetrical shape, strong branches and mid-green colour needles, these can be nearly as wide as they are tall. But the foliage is spread out, leaving plenty of room for decorations, and they tend to drop less needles than the Fraser fir.

Delivered to your door
Delivery costs from just £13 depending on where you live and the JDS team will be out seven days a week, meaning you can choose a time to suit you. Edinburgh, the Lothians, Glasgow and Central Scotland are all served.
You can also order a log stand with a hole already cut to let your tree stand tall and straight. Other stands are available which let you water the base.
Why go to JDS?
With years of gardening experience, trees are a major part of what they do. The knowledge of landscaping and tree work has seen their customer base expand each year. Selling Christmas trees came from lockdown, when customers could not get out, and it has also gained in popularity each festive season since.
