Hide AdKings meanwhile found St Mirren lively rivals at Portobello on Saturday as the Paisley side, led by Nic Collins with 16 points in the first quarter, took the lead 52-51 with two minutes left of the third quarter and were only three down with four minutes left of the game.
With Collins well policed by Ed Rekis and Lee Reilly hitting ten points in the last quarter Kings won 75-57 with Reilly hitting 28, Rekis 19 and Simon Flockhart 11.
Edinburgh Kool Kats enjoyed one of their best ever results against St Mirren in winning 79-49. Shauna O’Connor had 15 points, Hannah Peacock and Louise Gray 12 each, Lauren Walker 11 and Tracey Phillips ten. Polonia Phoenix defeated Fury 81-45 at Falkirk with Lynsey Campbell hitting 16, Beth Mackie 15 and Les Jackson and Claire Paxton 13 each.
