This week includes Scottish netball cup winners Onyx whose success rounded off a title bonanza for Edinburgh teams, cycle speedway hosts major event this coming Sunday at Redbraes Park track, City of Edinburgh Volleyball under-16 girls celebrate, new kit for young Pinewood School footballers and Knox Academy hockey, Lucy is Tennis Scotland’s “volunteer of the year”, Leith Vixens rugby team honour departing coach Kenny, president Susan on the bowl at Jessfield club and come-and-try sailing and kayaking at Portobello on Saturday.
