Kirk Brae Cricket Club appoints new chairman
Sharez Khan has taken over the chairman of Kirk Brae Cricket Club whose first eleven play in the East of Scotland Cricket Association’s Baillie Gifford Division Two.
The club starst net practice on Saturday at Edinburgh Academy, from 2-4pm – the club said all are welcome.
The captains for the new season at Double Hedges have been named as Umer Tahir, for firsts, and Gordon Batchelor, pictured right, for the seconds.
Since being founded in 1980 the club have enjoyed seven promotions overall in the East Leagues.
