Alan Stubbs to auction his winner's medal for charity
Only minutes after watching his jubilant players become the first Easter Road side to lift the trophy since 1902, the head coach pledged to sell his gong to help others.
Stubbs, who won the cup as a player with Celtic, said: “My medal will be getting donated and I will auction it off to the highest bidder and it will go to a good cause.

Stubbs had earlier disclosed how he had planned a special tribute to the father of his first-team coach John Doolan, who died of cancer a fortnight ago, his funeral taking place at the start of last week, but he said: ”You can do tributes in your own way and they become more personal. I couldn’t be happier for John. Everyone will have a tribute of some sort and John would not only have been with his dad, but another close friend who died a couple of years ago.”
