Friday may well be a pivotal day in Scottish football as 42 SPFL clubs are set to vote on a resolution which would see the Ladbrokes Championship, League 1 and League 2 terminated, while setting a precedent for the Premiership to follow suit.

It is understood that it will be a tight vote with sides across the four leagues split on the decision, while some clubs are set to put forward their own motion. Any announcement is not expected until next week.
