Hide AdDavid Moyes among possible replacements for Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace
Oliver Glasner’s time appears to be running out at Crystal Palace - according to a recent report from The Guardian, the Austrian has four games to turn things around before he will be removed from his post at Selhurst Park.
Should the Palace hierarchy opt to sack Glasner, former West Ham United and Everton boss David Moyes would be one of the leading candidates to take on the job, alongside Gareth Southgate and Graham Potter.
Speaking to Football Insider, former Aston Villa scout Mick Brown said: “David [Moyes] should be in the game and he’d be an asset to any club. With the situation Palace are in, near the bottom of the table, there’s always going to be pressure. Whether they sack Glasner or not is a different question, but Moyes is always going to be in line for that job after what he did at West Ham.
In his post match interview following the Forest game, Glasner said: “We’re always thinking about solutions. Maybe it is to change the shape – we need more players on the pitch who can score goals.

FC Midtjylland owner Anders Holch Povlsen ‘exploring’ possible Dundee United investment
Dundee United could be the beneficiaries of a big money investment in the future. According to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, Anders Holch Povlsen - one of the richest men in Denmark - is ‘considering’ investing in the club.
Currently, Povlsen is the majority owner of FC Midtjylland, who are second in the Danish Superliga as things stand. With an estimated net worth of £9 billion, United could be on the cusp of a massive cash injection.
United’s current owner is keeping his cards close to his chest - in a 2023 interview, he said: “I probably have more years behind me than I do in front of me [as owner], but I’m not actively looking to sell.

“Retail is up, sponsorship is up and we just made some nice improvements to our facilities. I feel good about Jim Goodwin leading the football operations.”
