Edinburgh Airport control tower to turn yellow to mark Livi return

Kenny Miller’s side, whose traditional home colours are yellow and black, welcome Kilmarnock to the Tony Macaroni Arena on Saturday – their first home game in the top flight since 2006.

The airport’s tower will turn yellow to mark the occasion and celebrate Livi’s return.

Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport said:

“We love to see our local teams doing well and Livingston returning to the top flight is great news for both the club and the area as it really is a focal point in West Lothian. It’s been a challenging few years for the club and this return to the Premiership is a massive reward for everyone who has worked hard to rebuild the club and for all the fans who have supported the team throughout.

“I wish Kenny Miller and his team all the best for the season ahead…and hopefully we’ll see even more European teams coming through Edinburgh Airport next season!”

John Ward, Chief Executive of Livingston FC said:

“We’re delighted to be in partnership with Edinburgh Airport. They are an incredible asset for the community here in West Lothian and recognition such as this does not come along often. Personally, I am so pleased that the work that the boys are doing on the park is being noticed. Our stadium is even visible during take-off, so it really is a match made (literally) in heaven.”
