Livingston’s Raffaele De Vita has signed up at Ainslie Park on loan until the end of the season. The Italian moved to Partick Thistle on loan at the start of last season, but spent the second half of the 2019-20 campaign at McDonaugh’s old club, Falkirk.

The City boss said: “We have been looking extensively to add both strength and depth to the squad. It’s been difficult to find the right type that we need and signing Raffa to the end of the season will add us experience as well as quality in the forward areas of the pitch.

"I remember playing against him in the Championship and I am sure with his personality, he will do well for us this season.”

The attacker previously played at Ross County and also had a spell at Swindon under Paulo di Canio, and at Blackburn Rovers and Bradford City.
