Euro 2020: Watch Scotland fans gather in Edinburgh as excitement builds
Watch fans gather in the Capital as Scotland’s first game of Euro 2020 gets underway against Czech Republic at Hampden.
This is the first time Scotland’s men’s team has played in a major tournament since 1998 and fans up and down the country are understandably wild with excitement.
With a 2pm kick-off, some 12,000 fans are in the socially distanced national stadium for the return to the big stage.
In the video supporters in Edinburgh can be seen chanting and dancing while they queued up to get into the Three Sisters bar at Cowgate.
Earlier on Monday the team was announced and included Marshall, Hendry, Hanley, Cooper, O’Donnell, McGinn, McTominay, Armstrong, Robertson, Christie and Dykes.
Much to the disappointment of Scotland fans, Kieran Tierney wasn’t included in the starting XI due to an injury, with other popular picks to start, Billy Gilmour and Nathan Patterson, also failing to make the side.
