Extra ime awarded for four clubs after support from local curry house
This is despite the Scottish government blowing the whistle on the Radhuni in Loanhead which has been forced to close for all but takeaways until at least October 25.
The restaurant which holds the current Scottish Curry Restaurant of the Year award has offered support to grassroot clubs Bonnyrigg Rose, Arniston Rangers, Loanhead Miners FC and Whitehill Welfare for their upcoming season.

Hide AdHabibur Khan, managing partner of Radhuni, said: “Football is a vital part of community life. We’re pleased not only to help local communities but do so in ways which improve people’s health and well being, particularly during the pandemic.”
Grassroots clubs have felt a pinch lately with fans unable to attend games and their traditional methods of fundraising put on hold during the pandemic.
Rory Joyce, a plumber who helps run Arniston Rangers, said: “Especially in these uncertain times when paying spectators can’t get into our matches, it’s marvellous that the restaurant’s owners are putting their hands in their pockets to help local sports clubs.”
He added: “We also appreciate that the hospitality business is among the worst affected by Coronavirus, which makes its assistance all the more outstanding.”

Hide AdLoanhead, Bonnyrigg and Whitehill were all said to be over the moon with the support from Radhuni which will provide financial backing as well as clothing amongst other benefits for all of the clubs involved.
