Goalkeeper Antonio Reguero leaves Hibs

The 33-year-old signed a season-long deal last summer, but has failed to oust Mark Oxley as head coach Alan Stubbs’ No 1.

The arrival of Finnish goalkeeper Otso Virtanen on a three-and-a-half year contract earlier this week put a question mark over Madrid-born Reguero’s future and now the former Inverness Caley, Kilmarnock and Ross County player has had his deal cut short.

Reguero did not make a first-team appearance during his spell at Easter Road.
