Hearts and Hibs youngsters called into Scotland U-21 squad

Hearts players John Souttar, Jordan McGhee, Sam Nicholson, Jack Hamilton and Billy King were named in the Scotland Under-21 squad today alongside Hibs' Jason Cummings and Liam Henderson.

Ricky Sbragia and his players face two European Under-21 Championship qualifiers later this month against France and Northern Ireland.

Sbragia has largely kept faith with those who started the campaign. There are maiden call-ups for Craig Storie of Aberdeen and Liam Polworth of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Scotland Under-21s face France in Angers on 24 March before taking on Northern Ireland in Paisley five days later. Both matches are vital to their hopes of reaching the tournament finals in Poland next year.
