Just after the hour mark, Hearts doubled their lead, Currie firing home from 20 yards.

The Wee Jambos’ final match of the season is against Celtic on Monday and a win or a draw would see Andy Kirk’s side leapfrog Dundee into second place in the table.

Hearts: Mason, Logan, Quitongo (Ward 76), B Gajda, Baur, Petkov (Watson 87), Morrison, Martin, Keena, Currie (Ritchie 63), C. Smith. Subs: W Gajda, McGill.
