The pundits have been out in force casting their predictions for Hearts vs Hibs this Sunday at Hampden Park.
Edinburgh derbies are fraught with tension at the best times but they escalate on Premier Sports Cup semi-final duty. Victory books a place in December’s Hampden showpiece against either Aberdeen or Rangers and renews fans hopes of a glorious day before Christmas.
Derby bragging rights are an added bonus and plenty of ex-pros have been giving their verdicts on how things may play out in Mount Florida. Here are how 13 pundits see Hearts vs Hibs playing out this Sunday afternoon.

9. Scott Allan (Sportscene)
"Wouter Vrancken has done really well and used his squad really well. What a way for Marink Reedijk to come into Hibs and endear himself to the support, but it's going to be a really difficult game. We have seen the quality Hearts have, especially in attacking areas. Hibs, for me, both boxes still look a bit vulnerable. Extra time but I think Hearts are favourites."

10. Michael Stewart (Premier Sports)
Responding in jest to a pre-match comment on Hearts vs Rangers, Stewart said: "At the weekend, I think that Hearts will recover from the disappointment on that easy win that Rangers will get." | SNS Group

11. Si Ferry (Open Goal)
"I think it's going to be a doing. Hibs are so poor at the back. 3-0 Hearts."

12. Marvin Bartley (Superscoreboard)
"I think the game this weekend is a difficult one. Owen Elding will be pivotal if Hibs are to get the win. Hopefully Martin Boyle is feeling better as well."
