Daniel Stendel has revealed that Hearts are in the market for another defender after John Souttar was ruled out for the remainder of the season with an Achilles injury suffered in the Scottish Cup win over Rangers on Saturday.
The Tynecastle club are restricted to signing players who are free agents and were released prior to the conclusion of the January transfer window.
