Alloa send terse Twitter response to Hearts over streaming of Betfred Cup game
The Tynecastle side informed fans on Twitter of how they can watch the last-16 clash from the Indodrill Stadium.
The club tweeted: “As the home club, Alloa have taken up the option to live stream the match which means we are unable to show the game on Hearts TV or provide our own PPV option. Under SPFL rules, PPV income is split 50-50, after costs, between the two clubs.”
It prompted a terse reply from the part-time club.

Hide AdAlloa responded: “Official sources state that this is false and misleading. We've live streamed since the beginning of the season. 'Option'? Streaming is the home clubs (sic) responsibility.”
Hearts, however, were required to take up the streaming option as the away team earlier in the competition with the trip to face Cowdenbeath.
Many supporters were already planning to opt against giving money to the Wasps even if costs are split 50-50 with the suggestion of a donation to the Foundation of Hearts due to the SPFL resolution voting and league restructure plans failing.
The response from Alloa will have done little to persuade fans to take up the PPV option.

Hide AdHearts have confirmed they will have a full match replay and highlights on HeartsTV from midnight after the game.
It will be the second time the teams will meet in the space of five days, Robbie Neilson's men having won 3-0 during the week to put them second in the table and leave Alloa bottom of the Championship.
