ANOTHER Hearts league fixture given new date

Hearts have another fixture moved from its spot on a Saturday afternoon.

The side’s clash with Dunfermline Athletic at Tynecastle Park which was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 9 has been moved to Tuesday, January 12.

Changes to the Scottish Cup for 2020/21 will see Hearts enter the competition at the second round.

The date for the second round is the weekend of January 9.

The impact of coronavirus has prompted a few alterations to the Scottish Cup with no replays and round one being played on Boxing Day.

It is the latest Hearts fixture to have a new date with the club’s home fixture with Alloa Athletic now being played on Tuesday, November 24 due to the Scottish Cup semi final this weekend.

The club’s first two home fixtures were moved to the Friday night for television, while trips to Dunfermline and Dundee have also been moved for broadcasting purposes.
