There’s a return for Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon, but while there were three Hibs players involved last time around, none have been included.

Here’s how supporters of each team reacted on social media:

Hearts fans

@juvehearts: “What a phenomenal keeper. Such a coup for us.”

@perthtopaisley: “Was surely inevitable, top class keeper.”

@JamboSteve1: “Best goalie in Scotland by a country mile.”

@thedaviddoull: “Celtic very much missed a trick letting Craigy go! What a player!”

@McIverTheMark: “Please, please, please, please don't get hurt.”

@scottcockburn: “Yet again we see a player called up by Scotland only when he moves to a big club.”

@eck____________: “Biggest game in 2 decades and they've left out the best striker we've had in 2 decades - Craig Wighton.”

@Declan216: “So your telling me kevin nisbet has more goals than all these strikers combined and hes still not called up?”

@charliebanks97: “Good squad. Would’ve liked Nisbet to be in and amongst it, but good squad nonetheless.”

Jeffers: “From a purely selfish point of view I’m glad none of them have been selected, thought how [Callum] Paterson has been called up again ahead of [Kevin] Nisbet is a puzzler.”

@HibernianPage: “If Nisbet puts his header past Gordon he’s in the team and Gordon isn’t. Steve Clarke has seen one match and decided he’s not having Nisbet and having Gordon.”

The 90+2: “Delighted Griffiths is back. Shame on Paul who’s done nothing wrong.”

@jones_sijones77: “So Hanlon, Porto and McGinn all binned yes Consedine keeps his place and Hanley is old and s****.”
