Betfred Cup draw: Hibs handed Dundee repeat as Hearts face Alloa trip
The Capital club needed a win to finish top of their group and avoid a knock-out tie against Aberdeen, Celtic, Hearts, or Rangers and they duly did so with a 4-1 victory against the Dens Park side courtesy of goals from Stevie Mallan, Jamie Gullan, Melker Hallberg, and a Jordan McGhee own goal, with Christie Elliott on target for the visitors.
The two teams will do battle once again for a place in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
