The concerning Hearts attacking stat going back to the start of last season
It took until the 78th minute and a set piece for the Championship side to break the deadlock against League Two opposition.
The identity of the scorer wasn’t a surprise to fans, despite the goal coming from the head of centre-back Craig Halkett from an Elliot Frear corner.

The departed Sean Clare is second on six with attackers Steven Naismith and Jamie Walker on five apiece.
Halkett was Hearts’ strongest performer against Cowdenbeath, his goal aside. He has proven himself to be a crucial figure, whether it be at set pieces or as a late option in attack.
In addition, it can't be long before he takes over penalty duties following Walker’s miss and his ability from 12 yards while at Livingston.

“I always say keeping a clean sheet is the most important thing but if I can chip in with goals to help out I’d be delighted.”
Manager Robbie Neilson warned teams will look to frustrate Hearts this campaign.
"It’s going to be like that this season," he said. “There'll be a lot of teams that'll sit with two banks of four and make it difficult for you and leave your centre halves on the ball.”
