This summer’s transfer window is set to be a fascinating one for both Hearts and Hibs, as well as SPFL rivals, with managers, players, fans and clubs unsure what to expect. In Scotland the 2019/20 campaign has already been concluded but in England there are still hopes of finishing the season, especially in the Premier League and Championship.
The knock-on effects will likely be felt both sides of the border. While Scottish clubs could see selling players to England as a way of bringing in income during such a difficult period financially, conversely English clubs may see Scotland as a market where they are able to recruit gems without breaking the bank.
