Goals from Liam Boyce, Euan Henderson and double from debutant Armand Gnanduillet secured the three points in Kirkcaldy and brought Hearts supporters back into their happy place after a frustrating 90 minutes at Tynecastle three days earlier.

Here’s how the Jambos followers reacted on Twitter:

Hearts Till We Die (@HeartsTillWeDie): 4 goals, a good performance and a clean sheet??? What have you done with the real Hearts???

Ian Horsburgh (@ianhorsburgh): Well done. That's more like it. Played with better tempo and intent. All over them. Really good win. Now to keep those standards going

Scott Nicoll (@WSNico11): Good to see our doom merchants being shut up. Back in the box until the next 'crisis'

Daniel Hibbert (@DanielHibbert51): A big improvement from the weekend a nice 2 goal debut for arnie not to shabby on to the next , one step closer

Ally (@AlistairDobbie): Much more like it Hearts. I’d appreciate another battering of a Fife team on Saturday please.

Matthew Leslie (@mattleslie74): Much better Hearts. Owed the fans a result like that after the same opposition outplayed us at our place last week. Always nice when a new striker bags two on his debut as well.

JennyJambo (@JennyJambo): Like night and day from Saturday. Much better all over the park. And have we found a striker who can strike?

Thomas Nicoll (@TS_Nicoll): That makes up for Saturday… The JTs in complete control from the first minute to the last. That’s the standard now.

LiamMcKechnie (@LiamGMck): Armand is different class, a clean sheet, three points, defended well. That’s more like it. Onward and upward we go

Ron Delnevo (@RonCashman): With all due respect, what Hearts should be doing against Raith. Totally & utterly controlled this match from start to finish.

Don McGrattan (@donmcgrats): What a difference from Saturday. Great team performance - how easy it is when Hearts actually turn up. Irving again in control. At last Popescu shows us he can play a bit. Worrying that Gino is injured again. Great to see big Nando grab a brace - could learn to love that man.
