A statement on the club website described the 21-year-old, who was born in Edinburgh, as “a skilled footballer who stands out for his exquisite touch of the ball.”

Holsgrove has represented Scotland at under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 level but played all of his career outside this country.

He was born in the Capital during his father’s spell at Hibs in season 1998/99, however the family returned to England just a few months later.

Holsgrove came through the youth academy at Reading and spent last season on loan at another Spanish third division club, Atletico Baleares.
