Hearts fans have been put through the emotional ringer this afternoon and evening as they witnessed their side reach the Scottish Cup final.

Not only did they watch a topsy turvy encounter with rivals Hibs at Hampden Park which went to extra-time but they had to contend with the heartbreaking news that Marius Zaliukas had died at the age of 36.
