One has already brought major investment to Hibs - and another Premier League owner may plough cash into Hearts.
Bournemouth owner Bill Foley spent £6m to take a 25% stake in Hibs earlier this year. Hearts now could have some external investment too from the Premier League in the form of Brighton chairman Tony Bloom.
The Edinburgh Evening News revealed on Monday that he is in conversations over an investment deal which could revolutionise player recruitment at Tynecastle. He has an interest in introducing his sports analysis company, Starlizard, which would transform how possible new recruits are assessed.
An agreement worth up to £10m is currently being discussed between Bloom and senior Hearts officials. Both he and Foley are said to hold huge financial sums. Using estimated net worth sums as per GiveMeSport, we rank where Bloom and Foley sit on the Premier League’s owner rich list.
