Former Hearts captain in the running to be next Kilmarnock manager after interview

Former Hearts captain Steven Pressley has been interviewed for the vacant manager’s position at Kilmarnock.

The defender, who played at Tynecastle between 1998 and 2006, is one of four candidates to meet with the Killie hierarchy.

The Ayrshire side are on the hunt for a new manager after parting ways with Alex Dyer last weekend.

Pressley has been out of management since leaving Carlisle United in 2019. He has previously had stints with Falkirk, Coventry City, Fleetwood Town and Cypriot club Paphos.
