Goalkeeper Stewart extends deal with Hearts

Ross Stewart’s loan from Livingston has been extended until the end of the season, Hearts have announced.

The goalkeeper has made two appearances for Robbie Neilson’s side in Betfred Cup wins over East Fife and Raith Rovers.

He was due to return to Livingston this month but will now stay to complete the current 2020-21 campaign.

The Jambos described the 25-year-old as ‘a popular figure in the dressing room’ and he will remain to provide competition and back-up for first-choice Craig Gordon for the rest of the season.
