Hearts 1-1 Aberdeen: Story of the cinch Premiership match, as it happened
The Dons were in European action in Azerbaijan on Thursday night and were again on the road, coming to Gorgie this afternoon.
Of course Hearts could go top of the table with a win – but so could Stephen Glass’s side. A draw would also put both joint at the cinch summit, alongside Hibs.
We brought you all the action from the game, kick-off at 3pm.

Another darting advance takes the ball forward but play breaks down after off-loading to Peter Haring who goes down and concedes a free-kick to Aberdeen.
The Dons looking strong in defence and Hearts will need their wide and skillful players to get the better of them.

The only change at the interval is from the visitors with Steohen Glass replacing Johnny Hayes with Dean Campbell.
Will there be more chances in the next 45 minutes?
What a chance for Mackay-Steven.
Joe Lewis spills a Beni Baningime effort under pressure from Liam Boyce and GMS prods wide when he should surely have scored so close in.
Big chance.
Response
Aberdeen retaliate immediately.
J.E.T. threads a good ball through and Christian Ramirez is just shy of making it.
A burst of life and goalmouth interest at both ends!
