Hearts will begin their 2020/21 Championship campaign at home to Dundee at on Saturday, October 17.

They then travel to Arbroath the following week as they bid for a swift return to Scotland’s top flight following a controversial relegation.

The Scottish Professional Football League today released fixtures for the Championship, League One and League Two for the forthcoming campaign.

All three divisions agreed to truncated seasons of 27 games instead of 36 as a result of the coronavirus crisis. They will kick off simultaneously in October.

Monday’s arbitration verdict confirmed relegation for Hearts, Partick Thistle and Stranraer, who will now play in the Championship, League One and League Two respectively.

Hearts have been handed 14 home fixtures and 13 away in the new fixture list.
