Hearts and Hibs give season ticket holders generous TV gift during football lockdown

Hearts and Hibs have given their season ticket holders free access to their TV channels during the football lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

It will help supporters who are not already subscribers to get their football fix through classic games, interviews, behind the scenes content and features during the shutdown.

On their website, Hibs said: “We are pleased to announce that existing season ticket holders will be given free access to Hibs TV for the duration of the league shutdown.

“As part of our Hibees At Home programme, it will ensure that many of you are still able to get your Hibernian fix, at a time when we’re all missing our normal Saturday afternoon routine.

“You’ll be able to watch some classic encounters, our features from through the years and we will endeavour to keep the content coming in the weeks and months ahead – despite the obvious limitations.

“The offer to extend Hibs TV membership has been achieved thanks to a strong working relationship with our partners at Stream Digital, who have worked hard to help put this in place.”

Both clubs were sure to thank current subscribers and hope they continue to do so to aid with revenue coming into the club.

Hearts said: “Hearts TV remains an important source of revenue, especially during these uncertain times, so the club appreciates those season ticket holders who already subscribe to Hearts TV and will continue to subscribe, should they be in a position to do so.”

Season ticket holders from both clubs will be contacted via email as to how to log-in and access the content.
