Hearts and Hibs were expected to sign a at least one player each, while there was also likely to be outgoings at both clubs. And so it has been proven. Three signings were made by Hibs and Edinburgh City, while Hearts added one. AC Milan sign full-back... it's not Aaron Hickey

Earlier in the transfer window it was reported that AC Milan were keeping tabs on Hearts ace Aaron Hickey.

The teenager was one of two British full-backs they were keen on, the other being Wigan Athletic's Anthonee Robinson.

Well, Robinson has agreed to sign for the Italian giants. For £10million.

Hibs keen on Docherty but players wants England move

Hibs are keen on Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty, report the Daily Record.

The Easter Road side have been admirers of the player, while the Ibrox side want to use him in a deal to sign Florian Kamberi.

However, the player is believed to fancy a return to England where he spent last season.

A surprise one to start the day. Ex-Hearts and Celtic striker Tony Watt is a free agent.

Watt left CSKA Sofia and has been linked with a move to Hibs.

It would give Steven Gerrard the striker he wants following Jermain Defoe's injury.

Some may think it would end their interest in Hibs ace Florian Kamberi.

However, according to the Glasgow Times, the club remain interested in signing the Easter Road forward.

Will Berra move before deadline?

Christophe Berra could still leave Hearts in the next 12 hours.

The former captain had an offer from Salford City which was turned down. He has options to consider, although it is understood Dundee are at the head of the queue.

Jamie Walker could leave Hearts today, according to reports.

Dundee United are understood to be considering bringing the attacker in.

Walker has found himself behind Lewis Moore and Euan Henderson in the pecking order at Tynecastle with Donis Avdijaj, Ryotaro Meshino and even Conor Washington for competition.
