Hibs forward Jamie Gullan has received his first call-up to the Scotland Under-21 squad for the upcoming Euro 2021 qualification matches against Croatia and Greece.

The 20-year-old is joined by Hearts duo Andy Irving and Lewis Moore, who are also making their bow at the age level – but there is no place for their Tynecastle colleague Aaron Hickey, who has been omitted from the squad.

Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour, who has impressed for Frank Lampard’s squad in the last fortnight, is also named in the pool of players despite calls for him to be named in Steve Clarke's senior squad for the Euro 2020 play-off semi-final against Israel.

Irving was capped at Under-17 and Under-19 level while Moore and Gullan have yet to make an appearance at international level.

Among the other players with senior experience are Aberdeen duo Lewis Ferguson and Connor McLennan; Rangers duo Glenn Middleton and Ross McCrorie, currently on loan at Bradford and Portsmouth respectively; Hamilton midfielder Lewis Smith; Louis Appere of Dundee United; Barry Maguire of Motherwell and Celtic’s Stephen Welsh.
