Gordon was a pivotal figure throughout Hearts’ campaign with big saves at key moments. His form also earned him a recall to Steve Clarke’s Scotland and a likely place in this summer’s European Championships.

Boyce, meanwhile, finished the season as top scorer in the Championship with 14 goals, added to six assists.

Adam and Hendry’s performances also resulted in a nomination from their peers, with both still involved in the promotion battle for a place in next season’s Premiership, with Dundee 3-0 ahead following the play-off semi-final first leg tie at Stark’s Park on Wednesday night.

The winners will be announced this Sunday, May 16.
