Fans are still continuing to snap up briefs ahead of next season despite the uncertainty which still surrounds the division the team will be playing in. In addition fans know that it is almost a certainty that some games will be played behind closed doors.

The club have revealed they are also open to the idea of playing some games at BT Murrayfield if partial crowds are given the green light which will allow for more supporters to attend.

Hearts offered fans renewing their season ticket a 10 per cent off as a way to compensate for missing out on the final home fixtures of the 2019/20 campaign and “allowing for the possibility of relegation”.

Now there is no cut-off period on when they can renew.

New season ticket holders were offered 5 per cent off.

Fans have also been assured that a season brief is for access to 18 home games. If that is unable to be fulfilled, supporters will be credited the following campaign, whether it be through their season ticket or individual match tickets.

Much is still to be decided ahead of the new season. If the club stay in the Premiership due to league reconstruction an August start is likely, while it has been speculated that the Championship may not begin until October.

Hearts have confirmed to the Evening News that they are in a position to stream games if they are played behind closed doors.
