A silent auction hosted by Big Hearts will run until Tuesday, November 10, the day Zaliukas was meant to be 37.
The charity organisation said: “He was our Captain. Our leader. Our legend. But he was also a cherished son, a much loved husband, and a doting father.
“We will never forget his awe at the sight of the Scottish Cup bedecked in maroon and white ribbons. Nor will we forget his smile, his sense of humour, and his kindness. Marius taught us that dreams can come true.

“A few days ago, we received an anonymous donation of the match shirt Marius wore on Saturday, November 10 2012.
“Hearts had commissioned a unique one-off shirt to mark Remembrance Day, featuring an original Heart of Midlothian FC crest. For many Jambos, that weekend is always the most poignant in the Hearts’ calendar.
“It was also Marius Žaliūkas 29th birthday. And he scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. In stoppage time. Captain fantastic, indeed.
