The Tynecastle Park side were due to make the trip to Fife on December 19 but their involvement in the 2019/20 Scottish Cup final the following day has forced a reshuffle.

Robbie Neilson will now take his team to face Raith, managed by ex-Hearts boss John McGlynn, on Tuesday, January 26 2021 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The rearranged game takes place just three days after Hearts host Raith in Edinburgh.

The Capital club hasn’t won a competitive fixture at Stark's Park since March 2015 when goals from Kevin McHattie, Jamie Walker, and Billy King gave them a 3-1 Scottish Championship win against ten-man Raith, who had former Jam Tarts striker Christian Nade sent off.

The last two competitive meetings in Kirkcaldy have ended in 1-1 draws; one the infamous Scottish Cup tie during Ian Cathro's reign, the other a Betfred Cup group-stage match with Hearts winning the subsequent penalty shoot-out.
