After six postponements, the sides eventually went head-to-head at the Westfield Stadium in Falkirk tonight for the right to face the Jambos in the second round, with Brora coming out on top against their East of Scotland opponents with a 2-1 victory.

A David Morrison goal had given Camelon a half-time lead but second half efforts from Jordan Macrae and Mark Nicholson secured victory for the Highland League side to book a date with Robbie Neilson’s men, who now face a 420-mile round trip.

Hearts were originally expecting to play the tie on Tuesday, January 18, however, following the SFA decision to suspend all football beneath the Championship, including the Scottish Cup, the match will now be rescheduled until a later date.
