Hearts possible Europa League and Conference play-off opponents

Here are the possible European play-off opponents that Hearts could face later this month.

Hearts will discover their next European opponents on Monday as the UEFA play-off draws commence.

The final round of qualifying in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League takes place later this month with Wouter Vrancken’s side in the latter two draws. They face Benfica in the third round of Europa League qualifying and will find out who awaits them depending on the outcome of that two-legged affair.

Whoever wins out of Hearts and Benfica assumes the latter’s sizeable co-efficient for the Europa play-off, and would be seeded. Whoever loses and drops into Conference League would assume Hearts’ and would be unseeded, throwing up a whole range of outcomes for the Premiership side, including a possible headache for investor and Brighton chairman Tony Bloom. Here are all the teams Hearts could face in the European play-offs ahead of groupings and procedures taking place.
