The Wouter Vrancken era at Hearts kicks off properly on Tuesday night when the Jambos face Sturm Graz in Champions League second round qualifying action.
A first leg in Austria takes place on July 21 and the second is a week later at Tynecastle. Vrancken has been putting his side through their paces via a variety of pre-season friendlies and has named a 22-man squad for the first game of his Gorgie tenure.
Changes could be made up until Monday night in terms of his team but the head coach may already have an idea of who’s starting his first match as Hearts leader. Here’s who we think will take to the field against Sturm Graz including four new signings and a possible captaincy choice.

1. GK - Alexander Schwolow
On his way out but last term's number one will play his final two games in the Champions League. | SNS Group

2. RB - Jordi Altena
Seems to be ahead of Christian Borchgrevink in this position right now. | SNS Group

3. RCB - Malachi Fagan-Walcott
The only naturally right-sided centre-back picked for these games. | SNS

4. LCB - Jamie McCart
A coin flip between him and Stuart Findlay but McCart has featured a little more in pre-season so gets the nod. | SNS Group
