Hearts’ goalkeepers haven’t saved the Tynecastle club too many points this season, but that was certainly not the case last Saturday as Daniel Stendel’s men drew with Motherwell.

With the match tied at 1-1 going into the closing stages, Motherwell attacker Jermaine Hylton unleashed a stinging effort on a bouncing ball that seemed destined for the corner of the net.

An intervention from Czech stopper Zdenek ‘Bobby’ Zlamal denied the winger a memorable winner for the visitors, as he tipped it round the post.

At the time it was difficult to judge just how incredible Zlamal’s stop was, but a video released on Hearts’ official Twitter feed has fully demonstrated the keeper's brilliance.

The clip – included in a side-line highlights package put together by Jallan Films – shows Hylton’s swerving shot starting its trajectory well outside the far post before moving back inside.

Zlamal, despite being partially unsighted, is able to throw himself across the goal and graze the ball wide for a corner with his fingertips.

In the end Hearts were only able to take a point from the encounter as both Steven Naismith and Liam Boyce passed up big chances in injury-time, but it’s a point that could be crucial come the end of the campaign.
