Hearts held their annual Remembrance Day service on Sunday morning ahead of their Premiership clash with Falkirk.
Representatives of the Tynecastle club and some of its supporters attended the event in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh pre-match. Hibs, Dunfermline Athletic and elected officials were also amongst those to have wreaths put down at the poignant event. Hearts said ahead of it: “Conducted by chaplain, Mark Fleming, the service will be attended by members of the first team coaching staff, youth teams, coaching staff and members of the Board.
“Club Captain, Craig Halkett will perform a reading that honours the bravest team and the sacrifices that they made. The service will commence at 10.45am sharp and conclude at 11.20am, at which point members of the public will be invited to lay wreaths next to the War Memorial.”
